Legal basis
Personal data is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and also the Telecommunications Act. Personal data is data relating to natural persons. This protection does not apply to data of legal persons. Personal data refers to individual data about personal or business facts related to you as a person (for example, your name in combination with your e-mail address). It does not include information that cannot be directly associated with your true identity.

Provision of your personal data to third parties
We do not provide your data to third parties for advertising purposes. Third parties only receive your personal data from us in the manner described in this privacy statement. In principle, your personal data will not be passed on to parties outside the EU. Should this not be possible otherwise in occasional cases, contractual obligations will be agreed upon by us which guarantee your rights in accordance with the AVG.

What happens when you use our website?

With every visit to our website, that is, when you call up or try to call up a file from our server, data about it is stored in a protocol file (log file).

The following data is stored with each call:

  • IP address;
  • Name of the called file;
  • Date and time of the call;
  • Amount of data sent;
  • Notification of whether the call was successful;
  • Notification of why a call may have failed;
  • Operating system and browser software of your computer;
  • Display resolution;
  • Browser language;
  • Color intensity;
  • Browser plug-ins (Javascript, Flash Player, Java, Silverlight, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc.);
  • The website from which you visit us.

The data files created are stored in log files for statistical purposes and deleted after statistical processing. We cannot trace the stored data back to you. The data is also not provided by us to third parties. Only in the event of an infringement of our rights do we reserve the right to forward a data file to the competent authorities in order to have the infringement of our rights prosecuted.

Use of your IP address
We use IP addresses for only 2 purposes:

  1. To analyze how often our websites are visited. For this purpose, we use the statistics program Google Analytics. In this case, your IP address is anonymized, which means that the last octet of the IP address is removed. As a result, it can no longer be traced back to you.
  2. To keep our websites secure and accessible.

Use of YouTube videos
On our website, we may use YouTube videos stored at http://www.youtube.com/. You can view these directly from our website. All videos are in the so-called "privacy mode". This means that no data about you as a user is provided to YouTube if you do not watch a video. Only when you watch a video are YouTube cookies stored on your computer and data sent to YouTube operator Google Inc., Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.

When viewing a video stored on YouTube, at least the following data are sent to YouTube operator Google Inc.: IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of the page selected on our site, system date and time of the call, identification of your browser.

The data will be sent regardless of whether you have an account with Google with which you are logged in, or do not have an account. If you are logged in, this data will be linked directly to your account. If you do not want this, you must log out before activating the button.

YouTube resp. Google Inc. stores this data as a user profile and uses it for advertising, market research and/or user-tailored design of its website. This is done primarily (also for non-logged-in users) to provide specific advertising and inform other users about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of a user profile. To do so, you must contact the operator of YouTube, Google Inc.

When and for what purpose do we collect, process and use your data?

We collect personal data only if you provide it to us yourself, or if we have a legitimate interest. We may have a legitimate interest to fulfill our legal obligations or if we can demonstrate that the use of your personal data is relevant and appropriate for the use of our services.

Your data is transmitted encrypted. This protects the communication between you and our web server and prevents misuse of your data (eavesdropping) by third parties. For encryption we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

All personal data collected in connection with our website are collected, processed and used in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations exclusively for the services you have requested and for handling your inquiries. For the use of our services by you, we may sometimes use service providers. In these occurring cases, our service providers are contractually obligated to adhere to this privacy policy.

No automated decision-making or profiling will be used in any processing or application of your personal data unless you have given your explicit prior consent. If you have given consent for the use of your personal data, it is possible to gain insight into the underlying logic used in this process. You can contact us for this purpose.

Retention periods
We will not retain your data longer than strictly necessary and, where possible, your data will be automatically deleted after six months. If our legal obligations require us to retain data for longer, we will do so.

Your application data will be deleted no later than four weeks after the end of the application process. If it is expected that a suitable position will eventually become available, your data will be retained for up to one year after the application date.

Your rights regarding your personal data
Under the AVG, everyone has a number of rights. To exercise your rights, please contact us.

  • Information and inspection: Of course you can inspect what personal data we process about you. We are therefore happy to tell you more about how and why we process that data.
  • Correction: Do you feel we have incorrect information about you? Please let us know and we will adjust it.
  • Oblivion: You can delete the personal data we hold about you. We may still need to process that data for other purposes (administration or deduplication, for example).
  • Restriction: If you feel that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can also have that processing restricted.
  • Objection (opposition): for the processing of your personal data, you can file an objection. Does it involve marketing? Then we will terminate that processing as soon as possible.
  • Portability: This is a new right under the AVG to transfer personal data. Should you wish to make use of this, please contact us.

In addition, you can also:

  • Withdraw consent: for example, to receive emailings. If you wish to withdraw consent for any other processing, please contact us.
  • File a complaint with the Personal Data Authority: Do you think we are not acting in accordance with privacy laws? Then of course we would like to hear about it. You can also file a complaint about this with the Personal Data Authority. Currently you can only tip the Personal Data Authority, using this form.
  • Access to your data
    Upon request, we inform visitors to our website about the personal data processed about them. Any incorrect data can be corrected, completed or deleted. If you wish to access this information, or correct your personal data please contact us.

Recruitment and deployment of personal ads (marketing).
For the online campaigns, we also process personal data. For example, IP address, cookie ID, social ID, mobile advertising ID and/or surfing behavior. Of course, we only do this if there is a legitimate interest or if you have given your prior consent in accordance with the AVG. On

You can opt out of these ads at any time. We use several retargeting systems on our website; therefore, you should use the link for each system to disable the feature.

When you visit our website with a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet or with a smart TV or related devices (game console, Apple TV, Chromecast, etc.). we may register a so-called advertising ID for advertising purposes. This is a unique ID linked to the relevant device and used to keep track of information about the ads shown. If you do not want this, you can reset the advertising ID of the relevant device. The following pages tell you how to do this for the most common devices:

  • Android devices: click here and/or:1. Open the Settings app on your device > Google, or open the Google Settings app (varies depending on your device).
    2. Select Ads under "Services.
    3. Enable 'Unsubscribe from personalized ads' by sliding the switch to the right so that it turns blue.

We also use "custom targeting" for our campaigns through social media platforms. We do this through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and through LinkedIn targeting. (Personalized) ads may be shown on these platforms. We do not pass on personal data to third parties for this purpose, unless you have given your prior consent.
