AM Redirection

Process optimization

When transferring your outdated website to a new improved version, it can still happen that the URL structure changes drastically. This is not only annoying for the customer but also for the SEO value of your website. This value can drop drastically due to major changes and as a result your findability in Google will plummet.. To counter this problem, we have developed AM Redirection (AMR) to keep both SEO and user convenience stable.

SEO value retention

Changing URL structures is sometimes unavoidable. Yet, the SEO value of your website must remain high. This can be solved by redirecting pages from their old URL to the new URL. This lets Google know that the page people are searching for still exists but in a different location. This ensures that people coming to your site via external will still see the content they should expect.

How AMR does it

All we need are two lists of URLs, one from the old website and one from the new website. AMR can then, by implementing smart search techniques, quickly search for comparisons between these two lists. This process results in a list in format as desired that can be used to embed the references from old to new on the new website.

Benefits at a glance

  1. The SEO value of your pages will remain intact after transition.
  2. Customers visiting the website through old URLs on external platforms will be served the right content.
  3. Through smart search techniques, the quality of results is higher than manual work.
  4. Should you need help with implementation, we can help with that as well.
