Enhanced Conversions is a feature of Google Ads that uses encrypted first-party conversion data to provide enhanced insight on the effect of the deployed Google Ads campaign on your conversion results.

This feature complements the existing conversion tags by securely transferring conversion data from your website to Google Send. This way you limit the impact that removing third-party cookies has on your Google Ads campaigns, protect your customers' privacy and improve the results of your Google campaigns.

How it works

When a customer completes a conversion on your website, you often receive customer data such as an e-mail address, name, residential address and/or phone number. This data is captured in your conversion tracking tags, encrypted (hashed), sent in encrypted form to Google and then used to improve conversion measurement.
